I'm checking out the Marvelous Designer fabric property settings. What do all these things mean? What is bending in Marvelous Designer? and what's buckling? I increased the bending and the clothes got really weird. What do you do with bending and what is it supposed to do?

high bending in Marvelous Designer creates stiff fabrics. It's best you learn all about the fabric physical properties either by studying the Marvelous Designer manual or by taking a course. Cgelves has a good beginner's course: https://cgelves.com/learnmd

Bending makes very stiff fabric which doesn't bend easily (and has few wrinkles). Like leather or hard plastic.
