What does the 3D line tool do in Marvelous Designer 7? I've tried to play around with it but it just makes these weird yellow lines on the avatar. What are those lines used for??

I've made some tutorials about the 3D Line tool in Marvelous Designer 7 (Avatar 3D line tool and Garment 3D line tool).
